Company History

Yale New Haven Health System (YNHHS) formed in 1996 to enhance the quality
and scope of healthcare services for residents of Connecticut, eastern New York, southwestern
Rhode Island and beyond. YNHHS includes three corporate member Delivery
Networks: Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH); Bridgeport Hospital (BH); Greenwich
Hospital (GH); as well as a physician foundation, Northeast Medical Group (NEMG).
The health system also has clinical relationships with several other hospitals in Connecticut.
YNHHS has a shared governance model in which each Delivery Network has its
own Board of Directors and a System Board of Directors includes representatives from
each Delivery Network.

Yale New Haven Health is Connecticut’s leading healthcare system, providing comprehensive,
cost-effective, advanced patient care characterized by safety, quality and
service. YNHHS has a formal affiliation agreement with Yale University to support
patient care, medical education and clinical research.

Yale New Haven Health offers patients the full continuum of healthcare services, from

the world. Clinical services include: primary and preventive care, specialty, acute
and sub-acute care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing and coordination of home care.
