Wis-Pak is a nationally recognized leader in the bottling and canning of drinking water and carbonated soft drinks.

Wis-Pak was founded in 1969 to provide a centralized supply of canned soft drink product to its owners. A building was constructed in Watertown, Wisconsin, and equipped with a single can line. Production began in 1970.

Wis-Pak has since become one of the largest and most successful cooperative companies in the soft drink industry. The wholly-owned subsidiaries include eight filling plants, a transportation company, a bottled water company, and a company for centralized administration. In 2004, Wis-Pak formed a majority owned subsidiary, WP Beverages, LLC, to purchase the Pepsi-Cola franchise operations of Madison, Wisconsin and Rockford, Illinois. The subsidiary was funded with Shareholder investments, both through Wis-Pak and directly with WP Beverages. In February 2006, WP Beverages purchased the Iron Mountain, Michigan franchise operation and in December 2008, the Huron, South Dakota franchise was acquired.

Wis-Pak is owned by 40 Shareholders, representing 63 Pepsi-Cola franchises. Their franchises cover parts of Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.

Wis-Pak is guided by a Long-Range Strategic Plan which establishes a unified approach to achieve common goals and objectives. The objective of the Strategic Plan is to enhance Wis-Pak’s mission of providing products and services to assure the long term successful survival of Wis-Pak and its Shareholders.
