Company Overview
Water & Air Research Inc. is one of America's longest-established environmental consulting firms. Since 1970 we have been dedicated to promoting environmental responsibility through the sharing of knowledge with the people and clients we service.
Our engineers, biologists, planners and geologists provide a wide range of services to private and public clients throughout North America. Today we employ nearly 50 people at our corporate office in Gainesville, Florida. Many members of our staff have worked at Water & Air more than 20 years, providing a longevity that allows us to maintain continuity in our service to clients.
Because we are employee owned and operated, our staff maintains a personal interest in solving our clients’ problems therefore ensuring the continued success of the company.
Water & Air has received numerous civic and professional awards, including Gainesville’s Business Volunteer of the Year, Florida Ethics in Business Award, City of Gainesville’s Green Business Award, second place in the Florida Native Plant Society’s Award for Mitigation, and first place in their Award for Landscape, and District III Governor’s Business Leadership Award sponsored by Enterprise Florida and the Governor’s Office.
