Vassar College
Company Overview
Located in the scenic Mid-Hudson Valley, 75 miles north of New York City, Vassar College is a highly selective, residential, coeducational liberal arts college. Founded in 1864, Vassar was the first college or university in the country to include an art museum as part of its original plan. Currently known as The Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, the museum's collections chart the history of art from antiquity to the present and comprise over 17,000 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints, photographs, textiles, and glass and ceramic wares.
Vassar is strongly committed to fostering a community that reflects the values of a liberal arts education and to promoting an environment of equality, inclusion and respect for difference. Vassar College is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer, and applications from members of historically underrepresented groups are especially encouraged.
