Company Overview
The University of Arizona Health Network is Arizona’s first academic medical network. It includes two hospitals, The University of Arizona Medical Center – University Campus and The University of Arizona Medical Center – South Campus, some 40 clinics, as well as a health plan division and the practice plan
for physicians from the University of Arizona College of Medicine.
The University of Arizona Health Network was formed in 2010 as the result of an integration of University Medical Center and University Physicians Healthcare. The University of Arizona Health Network works in partnership with the University of Arizona College of Medicine. It was created to facilitate better coordination, integration and promotion of clinical activities to support the College of Medicine’s education, research and patient-care goals.
The University of Arizona Health Network is the third-largest nongovernmental employer in Southern Arizona, with about 7,000 employees.
