The Club at Ibis is an upscale private residential country club on the western outskirts of West Palm Beach, Florida. Just a few miles west of I-95 and minutes from the elegance and diversions of the Palm Beaches, this private golf community bordered by the 12,000-acre Grassy Waters Nature Preserve feels like an oasis of natural beauty.
The Ibis community is comprised of 1,923 acres, with 1,808 current residences (1,871 proposed residences), divided amongst 33 neighborhoods. Ibis is an equity club owned by the members, who are justifiably proud of their spectacular amenities, unsurpassed lifestyle, and well-earned reputation. The award-winning club was named the state’s 2012 & 2013 Community of the Year by the Florida Communities of Excellence Awards.
Ibis is the world’s only private country club community with three 18-hole Jack Nicklaus family-designed courses (The Legend, Heritage, and Tradition). Last year, Ibis courses saw more than 100,000 rounds of golf. Ibis’ facilities also include a twenty-acre practice range with putting, bunker and pitch-chip greens, and a high-tech golf fitting studio.
Ibis unveiled their new sports complex, The Core in September 2014 which offers members world-class fitness, tennis, and spa amenities. Adjacent to Ibis’ 16 Hydrogrid tennis courts and 4 Pickleball courts is the two-story, 15,000 square foot fitness facility which includes multiple training rooms and the latest technology in cardio and strength training equipment and a retail outlet specializing in fitness and tennis apparel and equipment. This complex also houses an independent, tranquil spa facility, poolside Bistro restaurant seating 155 inside and 60 outside, as well as a zero-entry resort-style pool, whirlpool, and separate lap pool.
In 2015, The Club at Ibis celebrated its 25th anniversary and opened the doors to the newly renovated, spectacular 75,000 square foot grand clubhouse. The clubhouse consists of a Pub/Sports Bar seating up to 100 inside and 90 outside with stunning views of the golf course, a wine room, a casual dining restaurant seating 225 guests offering buffet and a la carte menus, and an elegant fine dining restaurant which can accommodate seating of 80 with a chic lounge area of 26 seats. The clubhouse also offers a large banquet facility to accommodate up to 450 guests along with two quaint private dining rooms. The banquet rooms can be divided to allow Ibis to host several special events simultaneously. Also included in the new clubhouse is exclusive men’s and ladies’ beautifully decorated cardrooms, a revamped golf pro shop, locker rooms, and an oversized cultural event rooms.
The Club at Ibis offers a variety of dining atmospheres, from elegant to casual dining. The club is very active socially with many member events taking place. The Food & Beverage budget is $4.7 million.
Company History
Ibis Golf & Country Club was incorporated in 1991. In 2015, the company changed its name to The Club at Ibis to better represent the all encompassing amenities offered to the members.
