Company Overview
The Art of Education University is an innovative and fast-growing institution of higher education serving art teachers around the world. In 2019, we became the first homegrown graduate university in the state of Iowa in 50 years and the world’s first “University For Life,” serving art educators throughout an entire lifetime of learning.
The Art of Education University serves tens of thousands of students, readers, and customers around the U.S. and in over 40 countries. Our Magazine is read more than 800,000 times each month, our events are attended by over 4,000 art educators annually, and we serve over 2,000 graduate students each year.
Notable Accomplishments / Recognition
Accredited by the DEAC, which is a recognized accrediting agency of the U.S. Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). The Art of Education University is also registered by the Iowa College Student Aid Commission to operate in the state of Iowa and is an authorized participant in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (NC-SARA).
Over the past three years, AOEU has tripled in size and continues to offer expanded products and services to our constituents.

Full-time positions offer 100% employee-paid health, dental, and vision benefits. Family health plans are available at an additional cost. New hires are eligible for participation, at the time of hire, in the institution's 401K plan with up to a 4% contribution match. Team members will be provided a full tech package, and are eligible for SM-PTO (self-managed paid time off) at the time of hire. Flexible hours and a flexible workspace available.
