Company History
In 1971, SMI founder and Chairman of the Board, Bob Stone, founded Systems & Methods, Inc., to provide technological solutions to government agencies.
Led today by the second generation of the Stone family, SMI staff includes nationally respected experts in their fields who are essential in the development and delivery of our industry leading services and solutions.
SMI’s commitment to service integrity and a family-to-family approach to doing business is the foundation of our belief that success depends on long-term relationships. Our professionals have operated facilities and systems in 19 states and 160 local agencies across the nation over the past 35 years. SMI continues to be signally focused on providing technological solutions and services to our government client family.
