Company Overview

SSI was founded in 1987 to assist companies in driving down the total cost of ownership for MRO and indirect materials while improving overall service levels.

As a full-service provider of indirect materials management, SSI handles the procurement, stocking, monitoring, staffing and management of client storerooms. We are typically hired for our ability to identify, execute and document hard-dollar savings, but are retained long-term for our process improvements, systems capabilities, data management, inventory optimization, engineering services and continuous improvement activities.

For each client engagement we seek the highest value for sourced materials while continuously improving service levels using our proprietary materials management technology and processes. SSI currently operates programs across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico and Singapore.
