Southgate Recreation & Park District (the District) is an independent special district established in 1956. The District provides park and recreation services to over 119,000 taxpayers in the southeast area of Sacramento County. The District encompasses 52 square miles and includes 47 parks, 4 community centers, 2 aquatic facilities, a golf course and many parkways and landscape corridors.
