The Portage Health Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization established in 1990 to support the mission of Portage Health. In December 2013, the Foundation will become a separate entity from Portage Health with responsibility for managing the minority ownership of Portage Health and support the regional health and community needs through grants. This expanded role will extend beyond its local focus with more emphasis on philanthropy in a larger service area.
