About Us
Northern Arizona Healthcare is the largest healthcare organization in a region that encompasses more than 50,000 miles. Our team of more than 3,000 doctors, nurses and other experts works together to keep you and your family healthy.
Serving more than 700,000 people in communities across the region, we provide comprehensive healthcare services through two hospitals – Flagstaff Medical Center and Verde Valley Medical Center – as well as through primary care and specialty physician clinics, outpatient surgical centers, the Heart & Vascular Center of Northern Arizona, Cancer Centers of Northern Arizona Healthcare, EntireCare Rehab & Sports Medicine, Fit Kids of Arizona, Guardian Air and Guardian Medical Transport, Northern Arizona Hospice and Northern Arizona Homecare, and Valley View Care.

Medical Plans

Northern Arizona Healthcare works to provide the best plans to enhance your financial, physical and personal well-being. Two plans are offered through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Flexible Spending and Health Savings Accounts (FSA and HSA) are available as well.

401(k)

Northern Arizona Healthcare matches employee contributions dollar for dollar, up to 4% of compensation to annual IRS limits. Each year, there is an opportunity to receive an additional 2% discretionary contribution, depending on that year's financial results. In total, employees have the opportunity to receive 6% employer contribution per year.

Your personal well-being - taking paid time off

Paid time off, or PTO, is a bank of hours that can be used for holidays, vacations, personal business, family needs or personal illness. It allows employees flexibility in how they use their paid time off. PTO can be carried over from year to year.

PTO accrues as follows:

Non-exempt employees with zero to four years of service receive 23 days per year. Based on a 40-hour work week, employees budgeted 16-48 hours will be prorated accordingly, with a maximum accrual of 34 days with 15 years of service.
•Exempt employees with zero to four years of service receive 4.31 hours per week or 28 days per year; after four years of service, they receive 5.235 hours per week or 34 days per year.
