Company History
Since 1958, North Kansas City Hospital, licensed for 451 beds, has been the Northland’s preferred healthcare provider. More than 3,000 employees, and nearly 490 physicians representing 46 medical specialties serve the community with healthcare services and wellness programs. Through its Meritas Health subsidiary, NKCH offers the largest network of physician practices in the Northland, with more than 30 convenient locations, including express care clinics located in local Hy-Vee stores. From a Level III neonatal intensive care unit and award winning cardiovascular, oncology and orthopedic programs to home health and hospice services, NKCH provides a lifetime of care.
