The Navy Exchange Service Command (NEXCOM) Enterprise is a $2.7 billion plus retail division of the U.S. Navy, headquartered in Virginia Beach, VA. We provide oversight for 100 Navy Exchange (NEX) complexes with nearly 302 stores, 40 Navy Lodges, 158 Ships Stores as well as the Telecommunications Program Office, the Uniform Program Management Office and the Navy Clothing Textile and Research Facility (NCTRF). Worldwide, the NEXCOM Enterprise employs 14,000 associates. Our operation provides a direct morale, welfare and recreation benefit to United States service members and their families around the world. We do offer a comprehensive salary, benefits and relocation package. US citizenship is required for some positions.
NEXCOM Enterprise is a non-appropriated fund instrumentality (NAFI) of the Department of Defense and Department of the Navy. This means, we do not receive tax payer dollars (appropriated funds) to pay employee salary or support our business. We are a federal employer; however sequestration should have little to no impact on our organization.
