In October 2009, we became a part of a group of companies led by K+S Aktiengesellschaft (the "K+S Group"), the world's leading producer of salt and one of the world's leading suppliers of standard and specialty fertilizers.

Our consumer products include table and specialty salts, water softening products and ice melters. Morton also supplies salt to a wide range of industries, such as food and pharmaceuticals. Our ice control products include salt sold in bulk to municipalities, state departments of transportation, governmental agencies, and roadway maintenance contractors for highway and roadway de-icing during the winter weather season.
