Company Overview
Linde Engineering N.A. engineers, supplies and constructs air separation and
synthesis gas plants as well as technology furnaces and fired process equipment for the refining, petrochemical, chemical, gas, and pharmaceutical industries. With over 4,100 installations world-wide, we have the resources and experience to provide single-source responsibility for process plant applications.
Engineering and design expertise across all disciplines has been the hallmark of Linde Engineering North America Inc. for over 60 years. Today, we enhance those strengths with worldwide procurement and experienced construction management teams to maximize project value, delivery, and safety. Our Revamp Services Group, based in Houston, upgrades and services fired equipment – our own or that of other OEMs.
Company History
Acquired in 1983 by Linde AG of Munich, Germany, Selas Fluid Processing Corporation became a subsidiary of Linde’s Engineering Division, a leading technology partner for plant engineering and construction worldwide. In 2009, Linde Engineering’s air separation, hydrogen, and synthesis gas plant product lines serving the NAFTA region were transferred to Selas Fluid Processing Corporation. That same year, Selas Fluid Processing Corporation relocated its Revamp Services Group to Houston, Texas, to better serve the company’s client base in the western U.S. and Canada.
In March 2013 the Company changed its name from Selas Fluid Processing Corporation to Linde Engineering North America Inc. to better reflect our status as a global technology, engineering, procurement, and construction firm. With this action, the resources we possess as a member of a world-leading gases and engineering company become more apparent to our customers.
