Who we are
Jefferson Healthcare is a DNV accredited, fully integrated health care system, with numerous accreditations and awards. We are the primary healthcare provider for more than 25,000 residents of East Jefferson County on the Olympic Peninsula. Jefferson Healthcare employees over 600 employees and is the largest employer in Jefferson County. We are a critical access, public hospital district providing services to residents of east Jefferson County. It is operated as a municipal corporation with five elected commissioners who oversee the district's operations. We recently received a 90% on our employee survey on "I would work here again."

Port Townsend has been named as one of the coolest small towns in America ... with good reason. Jefferson Healthcare has a robust benefits package - the top 1% in the state of Washington! Medical, Dental, Vision, and Prescription insurance are included, as well as short term disability and life insurance. Jefferson has an Enhanced Medical Benefit Program which adds immense value to the benefits package. Employees are also eligible to participate in the 457-deferral plan and the employee retirement plan. Under the retirement plan, employees receive a 5% contribution.
