Island Hospitality Management is a National Hotel management company with a stellar reputation for its expertise in managing upscale extended stay, select service and full service hotels across major brands such as Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Starwood, IHG and many more in demographically divergent markets with varied demand generators that require intense focus on differing market segments.

Our company is nationally recognized for its ability to successfully improve a property's bottom line through P&L controls and standards. While paying attention to each and every line item thereby ensuring generous bottom line flows, we never lose sight of our guests and the need to maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness and ambience. The ownership perspective of maximizing top line revenue without sacrificing net operating income is deeply entrenched in our corporate culture. We aggressively pursue this goal.

Based in Palm Beach Florida, we operate hotels across the United States. We are one of the largest independent, third-party hotel management companies serving the industry with over 100 hotels in our portfolio.

Company History

Our Palm Beach Florida based company was founded in 1986 by President and CEO Jeffrey H. Fisher as JF Hotels. Today we operate over 100 hotels representing 19 brands across the U.S. in 23 states plus the District of Columbia.

2010 – This year was a fantastic year for us as we added 5 hotels to our portfolio to include Homewood Suites by Hilton in Carlsbad, California, Hampton Inn & Suites Houston Medical Center in Houston, Texas, Residence Inn by Marriott in Holtsville, New York, Residence Inn by Marriott in New Rochelle, New York and Residence Inn in White Plains, New York.

2008 – In May we were excited to reopen our remodeled Courtyard by Marriott Atlantic City property and in November we added to our portfolio Courtyard by Marriott in Paso Robles, California.

2007 – Our name changed to Island Hospitality. In October we opened our first Embassy Suites hotel in Valencia, California.

2006 – In October we added our first two full-service Hilton Hotels at the Ontario California Airport and the Anaheim area. Two Residence Inn’s by Marriott were added as part of that transaction to bring our total number of Residence Inn properties to 50.

2005 – We added another Starwood branded hotel, our first Westin – the Westin Governor Morris in Morristown New Jersey. Later this year we incorporated the Boston Bulfinch Hotel into our portfolio.

2004 – This was a big year for us as we added several notable locations to our portfolio including:
- Our first TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Horsham, Pennsylvania.
- Added a portfolio of six Hyatt House properties across the country.
- Added our first Homewood Suites by Hilton Hotel in San Antonio Texas on the Riverwalk.
- Signed a management contract for our first full-service Marriott Hotel – the Cornhusker in Lincoln, Nebraska.
- Added our first Doubletree Suites in Washington, D.C.

2003 – Signed a management contract for the company’s first Starwood brand, the Sheraton Raleigh Capital Center.

2001 – The first owned and managed property built from the ground up was the Residence Inn by Marriott Tysons Corner Mall located in Vienna, Virginia.

1998 – We changed our name to Innkeepers Hospitality.

1994 – Our first Residence Inn by Marriott was purchased in Binghamton New York.

1987 – Our first Courtyard by Marriott opened as a redeveloped Sheraton hotel in the Cypress Creek area of Fort Lauderdale.

1986 – The company’s first property was the Hampton Inn West Palm Beach Airport (now a Stay Inn).
