Houston SPCA
Company Overview
The Houston SPCA, founded in 1924, is Houston’s first and largest animal protection organization and shelter. Our Mission is to promote commitment to and respect for all animals and free them from suffering, abuse and exploitation. The Houston SPCA is a private, non-profit charity, funded entirely by donations, which receives no funding from the Government, United Way or national animal groups.

Healthcare Insurance. We offer medical, dental and vision coverage to our full-time employees and their legal dependents. Premiums are deducted on a pre-tax basis, resulting in additional savings to employees.
Life Insurance. We provide basic life insurance. We also offer additional optional life coverage to employees and their dependents.
Retirement Plan. We offer a competitive 403(b) Plan; an employer match for employee contributions to this plan is available.
Paid Vacation. Full-time employees are provided with a minimum of two weeks of paid vacation accrual per year.
