Company Overview
Farmington Country Club was founded in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1927, and recognized in a recent poll as a Platinum Club of America. Portions of the Clubhouse date to 1789, and were designed by Thomas Jefferson. The Clubhouse includes 40 guest rooms used extensively throughout the year by members and their guests. The magnificent grounds are maintained by master landscapers and a large staff of dedicated groundskeepers. Food and beverage facilities include two a la carte dining rooms (each with its own kitchen) seating 300, four private dining rooms seating 180, a ballroom that accomodates 250, and two seasonal snack bars. Athletic facilities include 27 holes of golf; 15 outdoor tennis courts, three indoor tennis courts, and three paddle tennis courts; olympic size eight-lane swimming pool with 12-foot diving well, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.
