Company History
Fred Case founded Case Design/Remodeling in 1961. In the early ‘60s, Fred developed the “Design Build” concept, which is now used by remodelers nationwide. Fred Case won the first NARI “Contractor of the Year” (CotY) Award in 1976, and was recognized in 1984 with NARI’s Harold Hammerman “Spirit of Education” Award for excellence in education and training. In 2002, Fred Case was inducted into the National Remodeling Hall of Fame. Since then, Case Design/Remodeling has earned more than 100 awards for excellence in design and craftsmanship, superior client service, outstanding business innovation and more.
In 2007, the Fred Case Remodeling Entrepreneur of the Year Award was created to recognize the entrepreneurial spirit of remodelers and the importance of creativity in the remodeling industry.
Also in 2007, Case Cares was established because an organization like ours should do more than simply make a donation here and there. As Case employees, we spend a significant amount of time in local communities, and we should be striving to make a difference in those places not for any business benefit but because it’s the right thing to do. We pledge to always go a step further, identifying and providing volunteer services, resources, and funding to make an impact in our community and yours. We've participated in Children's Hospital Light up the Season event and Habitat for Humanity's Women Build. We support Horton's Kids and Soldiers' Angels. The tenure of Case employees is outstanding for the construction industry. Over 24% (40 employees) have been at Case for more than 15 years and we have a special Quarter Century Club for employees with over 25 years at Case that boasts 16 members. The culture of Case is family-oriented. We support personal growth for all of our employees and promote from within whenever possible.
