Company History
Our History
Menlo Logistics launched on October 26, 1990. Named as a nod to Menlo Park, the Silicon Valley hub of high-tech innovation, we were the first of a new breed of integrated logistics companies, pioneering an innovative sector which would grow rapidly in the following years.
Founded as a subsidiary of Consolidated Freightways (CF), the company that would later become Con-way Inc., Menlo elected to be a carrier-neutral, third-party logistics provider (3PL).
In 1997, Menlo brought its 3PL service to Europe, and 10 years later significantly expanded in Asia through two acquisitions: Singapore-based Cougar Holdings and Shanghai-based Chic Holdings. Today, we operate in 20 countries on five continents, managing 20 million square feet of warehouse space and optimizing over $2.5 billion of our clients’ transportation expenditures.
To fuel ongoing innovation in an evolving logistics landscape, Menlo is investing heavily in technology and talent. Today and into the future, we are committed to helping you transform your supply chain and find your competitive edge.
