The TDECU culture today has been over 55 years in the making. From our humble beginnings in 1955 when 5 people combined $10 each for a loan to help someone buy a much-needed refrigerator, the culture you experience today is solidly based on that foundation of people helping people.
You see, TDECU employees are carefully selected for their passion to make a difference with memorable service-service to our community, our members, and importantly, that same wonderful service to fellow employees. It is how we live out our TDECU mission to improve lives.
And in that pursuit of our mission, we make a difference each and every day in the lives of those we work with, and the members and communities we serve. While we are proud to be one of the largest credit unions in Texas, we are most proud of the lives we have improved along the way.
