Company History
Citco Group Limited was founded by the Smeets family from the Netherlands shortly after World War II. Following the war, the Smeets moved to Curacao and established Citco Group Limited. Till this day, the company remains a family company that is privately owned. Currently, Christopher Smeets, who is the founder’s grandson, serves as the CEO of Citco Group Limited.
