Company Overview
The Drexel Heights Fire District is located on the southwest side of the City of Tucson in the area of the beautiful Tucson Mountains. The Fire District operates out of five fire stations. The District has approximately 117 employees. However, a shared services cooperative is being established with Green Valley Fire District who has about 85 employees. The Districts provide the typical emergency services that most fire Districts provide. Those include fire suppression, paramedic level pre-hospital emergency medical care and transport, fire prevention and code enforcement and public education. In addition, the District responds to specialized emergencies including swift water rescue, high angle rescue and immediate response services to a regional airport through an automatic aid agreement.
