FHF is now seeking an exceptional candidate to manage its people operations. This individual will lead a team to oversee the recruitment and retention of a 130+ organization that is expected to grow over 400+ in the next 4-5 years. This person will be reporting directly to the CEO and will be a trusted adviser in developing the organization

Job Description:

  • Strategy and Culture: Develop a comprehensive strategy for people operations and HR
  • o Collaborate with functional leaders to develop a detailed recruitment and retention strategy in line with company objectives

    o Support leadership team in maintaining a healthy and collaborative culture across the organization

    o Develop a comprehensive employer branding strategy and work with internal and external team(s) to cultivate FHF’s brand as an employer

  • Recruitment: Coach recruitment team and functional managers to develop a recruitment plan and approach for each role
  • o Enable managers to understand job role, articulate skill sets & eligibility criteria, define compensation bands and minimum acceptance criteria

    o Guide recruitment team to prepare sourcing strategy and make interview plans

    o Work directly with recruitment teams to close on the chosen candidates

  • Retention: Work with functional leadership to maximize FHF’s talent retention
  • o Work with functional leadership and managers to define performance metrics and success criteria for different

    o Establish and institutionalize a performance management & feedback system to foster a culture of excellence and create a meritocratic environment

    o Ensure establishment of individual career progression plans for managers and well-defined growth trajectories for junior frontline staff

    o Facilitate team building exercises like annual office events, summer & winter parties, team outings, Friday Happy Hours, etc

  • Training and Development: Facilitate functional teams to develop comprehensive learning and development programs for personnel across all levels
  • o Ensure functional teams develop appropriate training and development programs for frontline personnel

    o Identify relevant management training programs and develop customized development plans for mid- and senior-level executives

  • Benefits and Compliance:
  • o Manage all benefits programs (healthcare, 401(k), tuition assistance, etc.) with the involvement of finance function as needed

    o Ensure FHF’s compliance with all HR regulations like Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) at a state and federal level

  • Continuous improvement: Lead a team of HR and recruiting personnel to deliver best-in-class people operations
  • o Establish, track, monitor and continuously improve key personnel metrics (employee satisfaction, retention, etc.) and recruitment metrics (time to fill, cost of hiring, etc.)

    o Continuously improve and evolve HR practices like performance management, organizational design, succession planning, compensation benchmarking, etc

    Requirements

    • At least 10 years of experience in people operations
    • At least 5 years of experience in managing and leading HR teams
    • Wide breadth of experience across all aspects of HR (recruitment, performance management, benefits management, payroll, HR compliance, training & development)
    • Strong familiarity with MS-Office (especially, MS-PPT and MS-Excel)

    Educational Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Advanced degree in HR will be a plus
