DropCar, Inc. (Nasdaq: DCAR) is a rapidly growing mobility logistics company, based in New York City. Our B2B clients include Tier 1 automotive manufacturers, dealers and other automotive businesses. Our consumer subscription business (1,400+ subscribers) provides members with a frictionless parking, maintenance & general vehicle care experience, supported by our large network of full time drivers.

Reporting directly to our CEO, the successful candidate will partner with business leaders to build an engaged and forward thinking culture that will ensure our competitive edge at the increasingly valuable cross section of mobility & technology in urban centers.

The successful candidate will lead on all key HR-related disciplines with a strong focus on advancement of the culture, talent acquisition, talent management, and organizational design. He or she will serve as a trusted advisor and confidante to senior leaders; coaching and consulting with management teams on all people-related matters.

Additionally, he or she will lead and participate in DropCar-wide HR projects (organization builds, mergers and acquisitions, infrastructure changes).

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Partner with senior leaders to plan / drive change, enhance organizational effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and develop / implement related strategies.
  • Implement operational efficiencies to build a high-performing culture.
  • Lead on all key HR-related disciplines including organizational design, talent and succession planning, and performance management.
  • Oversee all cyclical processes such as payroll, annual compensation, performance management, succession management, and employee engagement surveys.
  • Provide guidance and direction to more junior HR staff.

  • The role will be based at our headquarters in NYC (midtown). There may be travel needed from time to time to other markets across the US and abroad.


  • 10+ years HR experience with prior senior HR responsibility, talent management, and people leadership.
  • Possess strong leadership skills, professional maturity, and sound judgment.
  • Solid working knowledge of all major HR disciplines (compensation, diversity / EEO, learning and development, organization development / effectiveness, talent acquisition).
  • Proven record of effectively operating at both a strategic and tactical level, and demonstrated ability to manage multiple and diverse issues.
  • Successful track record of relationship-building and problem-solving.
  • An expert on operational efficiency and high-performing cultures.
  • Excellent business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Superior written, listening, and oral communications skills.
  • SHRM-SCP certification or ability to obtain certification within 12 months of hire.
