Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum five years’ experience in adult Training

Experience in design of classroom training

Previous experience with a Learning Management System

Personal computer experience to include Microsoft Office products.


Primary Functions:

Partners with the Vice President of Employee Services and the management team to assist in the design, development, coordination, presentation, and maintenance of the credit union’s training programs. Research training needs within the credit union and develop programs that reflect the strategic plan of the organization. Communicate credit union goals and direction to employees and implement and conduct training programs.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

  • Work collaboratively with leaders across various functions to research, evaluate, create and implement innovative training programs that support the growth and direction of the credit union.
  • Proactively identify organizational needs and inefficiencies and provide solutions via the development of training courses, reference materials, and job aids.
  • Develop and find professional, cost-effective training resources. Evaluate outsourced programs and/or vendors.
  • Assist branch and administrative staff with operational training, certification program, and special projects as requested.
  • Prepare training and resource materials by identifying purpose; assemble and compose information for manuals.
  • Continually evaluates training progress and training procedures to monitor and analyze course effectiveness and update curriculum as needed.
  • Keep abreast of new technologies, training trends, and products and services of the credit union. Maintain knowledge of instructional technologies by attending seminars and reviewing professional publications. Establish professional networks and participate in professional training organizations.
  • Coordinates training programs for specialized issues, e.g. skills enhancement, compliance, etc.
  • Coordinates training schedule with the hiring and training demands of the Credit Union.
  • Travels to various branches

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Supervises employees during training. This includes, role modeling the core competences, skills and behaviors of a company leader, tracking attendance, addressing inappropriate behavior and documenting performance, both strengths and development needs

Work Schedule:

Full Time Position – Monday through Friday.
Saturdays as scheduled.
Varied hours and schedule depending on operational needs.

Location:

Edwardsville, IL Headquarters; Employee Services Department
However, work location may change according to SCU staffing needs.

Salary Range:

$23.91 hourly - $31.23 hourly
