You will play a key role in the design, implementation and advancement of company-wide compensation and rewards programs. Do you like to work with others from around the world? In this role you will also work closely with the Global Total Rewards team utilizing ICL’s global system in conjunction with data from multiple sources to analyze compensation data. You will have the unique opportunity to roll up your sleeves and work hands on with managers across the Americas to evaluate jobs, determine classifications and appropriate compensation packages while simultaneously providing strategic direction. You will drive the selection process and work with brokers, administrators and consultants. You will have the opportunity to travel within the Americas and an occasional trip to Europe and/or Israel will be required (but don’t worry, these trips are usually arranged well in advance).

Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • You will have overall responsibility for all job evaluations in the Americas region, based on Mercer IPE methodology
  • You will manage salary classification and compensation programs according to a global system
  • You will conduct periodic benchmark analysis of compensation and benefits offerings as compared to the industry & geographic trends
  • You will oversee competitive analysis, merit/promotional increases and salary structure
  • You will manage & administer the regional Annual Comp Cycle (Merit, STI & LTI )
  • You will analyze survey data to ensure appropriate compensation across all departments & geographies
  • You will administer the domestic relocation process and corporate auto leasing/allowance program
  • You will forecast the annual budget for salary increases & incentives
  • You will administer and manage employee insurance plans to obtain the highest level of service at the best possible price
  • You will oversee pension and savings plans including leading the benefits committee and working with advisors to maximize return while ensuring ICL operates in a fiduciary responsible manner
  • You will advise on salary increase requests
  • You will provide guidance for the compensation and benefits portion of the negotiation of collective agreements in the Americas
  • You will advise employees on state and federal employment regulations, benefits and compensation



Required Skills

What you need:

  • Bachelors in HR Management or related degree
  • 5+ years of HR management experience
  • Job evaluation experience with Mercer IPE, Hay or similar system


What will set you apart:

  • 5+ years of compensation experience
  • 5+ years of benefits management experience
  • International compensation experience would also be beneficial
