The Total Rewards Consultant is a key role supporting the strategic initiatives for Global Benefits. This position will contribute to the success of Digi-Key by researching market trends, analyzing how to incorporate new offerings and where our current offerings fit into the global marketplace, developing high level metrics and analytics, managing projects in a matrix environment, and supporting a holistic view of Total Rewards.

Responsibilities

Must be able to:

  • Act as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues; ensure programs follow policies and procedures; plan, organize and execution of plans; develop measures and analytics for all sponsored benefit plans and provide reporting and recommendations.
  • Manage workflow and drive cross-functional goals and objectives related to benefits including employee wellness.
  • Execute business plans and contributes to the development of functional strategy
  • Advise management on the formulation and administration of plans and policies for human resource activities
  • Act as an internal consultant by analyzing and recommending solutions to human resource issues; ensure programs follow established policies and procedures; plan, organize and execution of plans; Develops measures and analytics forall sponsored benefit plans and provide reporting and recommendations
  • Collaborate with the Total Rewards team to develop changes for the improvement of workflow.
  • Install approved new plans and changes by preparing announcement material, booklets, and other media for communicating new plans to employees. Revises and reissues all communications material on benefits from time to time. Advises and counsels leaders and employees on existing benefits
  • Conducts periodic audits of functional activities to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
  • Will perform responsibilities of aTotal Rewards Specialist

Requirements

Minimum Essential qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Proven ability to professionally & affectively influence and collaborate
  • Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  • Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of human resources, negotiation, benefits administration or financial management experience
  • High level of technical capability – experience with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as HCM system configuration experience
