With experience recruiting in the nonprofit, healthcare, and IT space and interest in committing to a minimum six- month assignment. This is an Alexandria, VA-based Headquarters position with some flexibility to telework.

The Temporary Contract Recruiter will be responsible for full-life cycle recruitment for nonprofit, healthcare, and IT positions. He/she will partner with hiring managers, HR team members, and other key stakeholders to source and identify the best talent.  


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process
  • Accurately assess position needs for knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs)
  • Screen and pre-qualify candidates to match position requirements, core competencies, and culture fit, using resume analysis and behavioral and competency-based screening and interviewing techniques in compliance with legal practices. Build effective working relationships with hiring managers to meet high customer service standards
  • Manage the flow of employee referrals and candidates and other creative resources to build a pipeline of top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with hiring policies, legal practices, and company values


Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related business field

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit, healthcare, and IT recruitment, preferably in the local DMV market

• Team player who is self-motivated with a highly professional presence

• Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office
