As a Technical Recruiter at Redjack, you will:

  • Help us to grow our technical teams
  • Be responsible for sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles
  • Coordinate efforts of networking online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand and reduce our time-to-hire
  • Maintain talent acquisition metrics, including diversity hiring
  • Ultimately, ensure that our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees while growing a strong talent pipeline


  • Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter for a minimum of 5 years
  • Experience with recruiting security-cleared candidates
  • Hands-on experience with various interview formats (e.g., phoneSkype and structured)
  • An ability to understand and explain technical job requirements
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g., social media recruiting and Boolean search)
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of HR practices
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, IT or other relevant degree
  • Coordinate with internal team leaders to forecast department goals and hiring needs
  • Lead the development and implementation of recruiting strategies, including diversity goals
  • Manage a full lifecycle recruiting process with a positive candidate experience, including:
    • Perform pre-screening calls to assess applicants’ knowledge, skills and abilities
    • Interview candidates utilizing various methods (e.g. structured interviews, technical assessments and behavioral questions)
    • Coordinate the interview process involving candidates, managers and other employees including logistics and interview areas
    • Negotiate compensation and other terms of employment with candidates
    • Compose and deliver formal job offers
    • Complete thorough reference checks for new hires
    • Coordinate on boarding of new hires
  • Develop and maintain an effective candidate pipeline potentially available for immediate hire if so needed
  • Promote our job opportunities in a way that stands out from other companies, leveraging Internet job ads and postings, emails, job fairs, campus recruiting, trade shows, referral programs, meetups, and other recruiting tools to attract excellent candidates on a continual basis
  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails to passive candidates
  • Conduct job and task analyses to determine job duties and requirements for job descriptions
  • Source potential candidates on both popular and niche platforms such as Stack Overflow and Github as well as social media platforms and other channels
  • Promote our company’s reputation as a great place to work and represent us in our employer branding initiatives as the face of the company to potential job candidates
  • Continually maintain an understanding of trends in the industry, technology and recruiting
  • Meet or exceed targeted goals, while accurately and regularly reporting on the key results and activities that contribute to those goals
