Join us as a Talent Acquisition

Brown Brothers Harriman is currently recruiting a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Talent Acquisition team. In this role you will develop, coordinate and execute a range of planned Talent Sourcing Strategies to meet resourcing requirements at entry level in Private Banking, Investment Management and Administration across the US. You will also work to design sourcing strategies which will be designed to maximize direct hiring objectives and include leveraging new technologies, jobs boards, recruitment fairs & on-site events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Line Managers to ensure that role descriptions accurately reflect and articulate the key responsibilities, skills and experience required

  • Lead the development and execution a recruitment plan, which sets out pre-planned initiatives to generate a diverse and high caliber candidate flow to meet anticipated requirements in the US

  • Source and screen candidates on an ongoing basis to ensure a continued pipeline

  • Partner with the Programs team on Campus initiatives to ensure strong intern classes that will feed into the entry level hiring.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR or related discipline

  • 3-4 years general HR/recruitment experience preferred; previous experience managing campus recruitment and/or internship programs highly desirable

  • Exceptional relationship management and interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully negotiate and influence at the highest levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated customer focus skills and strong action orientation

  • Possess a high degree of confidence; can instill confidence in others

  • Ability to think strategically, independently and creatively, and take ownership of critical issues

  • Strong organizational agility - able to adapt to ambiguous situations and make solid decisions with limited information

  • Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail

  • Proven ability to manage time, priorities and projects

  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficiency with Technology: WorkDay, Internet technologies & Social Networking Tools
