The Talent Acquisition Specialist will utilize their exceptional interpersonal skills to create, develop and manage a hiring process that sets CSM companies apart from the status quo. This person will have responsibilities for sourcing, recruiting and onboarding employees across multiple geographies and roles. They will also be responsible for managing internal expectations and coaching internal resources on the hiring process.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a customer focused, extroverted style that can enliven, engage, motivate and positively impact individuals. This role will require travel throughout our multi state region, making connections and communicating with people while proactively establishing relationships. They must also work independently in a fast paced and results oriented environment while prioritizing their schedules to maximize time. A strong team player in this role will demonstrate knowledge and passion for the hiring process, which will easily guide this individual to success!

Performance Objectives

  • Source, screen and build a pipeline of candidates to support growth across multiple geographies.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external customers and engage them throughout the hiring process, maintaining communication along the way.
  • Demonstrate innovation in sourcing techniques for candidates, both technical and in person.
  • Ensure compliance with all employment laws through the process.
  • Be a trusted partner to the hiring managers before, during and after the core process is initiated.
  • Facilitate the usage of an ATS from start to finish, ensuring data integrity along the way.
  • Phone screen and qualify candidates and make timely recommendations to the hiring manager.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate between multiple parties to coordinate schedules.
  • Consult on offer details, provide documentation and research when needed, and manage the pre-employment process, including preplacement contingencies and paperwork.
  • Maintain compliance with Affirmative Action and all applicable employment laws.
  • Facilitate an onboarding process that spans past Day One of employment.
  • Maintain communication with new employees to ensure satisfaction in employment and be proactive when issues arise.
  • Assist with adapting to changes in the employment landscape and make suggestions for best practices.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Experience Requirements

Education / Experience

  • High School degree required. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
  • Three to five years of high volume talent acquisition experience. At least two years of corporate recruiting preferred.
  • Industry knowledge preferred.
  • Experience navigating an ATS system, and knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite required. Knowledge of technology such as Smartsheet, Calendly and LinkedIn Recruiter are preferred.
