The Talent Acquisition Specialist will deliver full life-cycle recruiting. To be successful in this role, you should be able to take ownership, develop long-term recruiting strategies, and nurture trusting relationships with potential hires. Ultimately, this position will create a strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.

  • Implement and maintain a corporate recruiting plan for corporate and its operating companies.
  • Take ownership of recruiting and have ability to make decisions that will improve the overall recruiting experience for those seeking new positions and the hiring managers
  • With the assistance of the hiring managers, create job description for open positions
  • Coordinates with hiring manager(s) to determine best recruiting process for open position(s).
  • Acts as liaison with area employment and staffing agencies.
  • Screens and interviews applicants for corporate and trade positions
  • Conducts reference checks
  • Extends verbal and written contingent job offers.
  • Prepare job offer letters
  • Coordinates and administer background checks for new hires and DOT drivers
  • Completes bi-weekly report on recruitment activity
  • Conducts exit interviews with terminating employees, if needed
  • Manage special projects as assigned


Other Duties/Responsibilities

  • As assigned


  • Three to five years recruitment experience including sourcing, interviewing and developing recruitment plans. 
  • Must be able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, complex organization.
  • Experience with recruiting for Franchises and trade positions
  • High School Diploma or GED Certification


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Five plus years of experience in the corporate recruiting industry and/or agency experience helpful.
  • Experience with Newton Applicant Tracking Software
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Human Resources or related field
