Reporting to the Manager of Talent Management, Yamaha is looking for a rock star Talent Acquisition Partner who will be the primary point of execution for YCA’s Talent Acquisition Strategy and plans that support the vision of the company. Performing full life cycle recruiting, the Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible to maintain consultative relationships with hiring managers, internal partners and external vendors in filling open opportunities ensuring the right fit for the individual and the organization. This role will oversee the recruiting process to ensure alignment to YCA’s recruiting strategy, and the efficient, consistent and effective execution of the process with a focus on building a best-in-class employment brand and candidate experience.

 Here’s What You’ll Do 

  • Develop candidate interest and referrals for available positions through a variety of sourcing tactics, such as, social media and social recruiting, competitors, online and in-person community groups, online searches, etc.
  • Identify user groups and professional associations which could lead to qualified candidates
  • Ensure timely and quality service to internal hiring manager and other internal/external stakeholders
  • Create comprehensive recruiting strategies for open opportunities 
  • Will work with internal stakeholders to seamlessly coordinate interviews
  • Perform queries and manages candidate tracking through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Ensure ATS is maintained and updated as needed
  • Ensure Careers site is maintained and updated, as needed
  • Extend offers and work with HR generalists to coordinate onboarding handoff
  • Maximize internal referral program to ensure viable funnel of referral candidates
  • Monitor and measure recruiting metrics and make recommendations for improvement
  • Update recruiting procedures, documentation and SLAs and ensures consistent implementation of recruiting procedures
  • Perform other duties and be involved in projects and tasks as needed

Requirements

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table

 Required:

  • 5-7 years proven experience in hands-on full life cycle recruiting
  • 5-7 years proven experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, social recruiting and/or alternative sourcing strategies

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field
  • Experience creating and executing talent acquisition strategy and employment brand strategy
  • 7-10 years experience in full life cycle recruitment
  • Experience in the consumer products industry
  • Skilled in behavior based interviewing techniques and working with competency models

  • Resourceful – is able to draw on a variety of resources to achieve results
  • Interpersonal skills– displays talent, enthusiasm and commitment and is a brand ambassador at all times
  • Financial and business acumen – able to understand the customer's overall business and see how the roles impact the business 
  • Productivity – is able to maintain a high level of output without sacrificing quality
  • Initiative – takes the initiative in developing new methods, procedures and approaches for improving efficiency
  • Dependability – is consistent, dependable and accurate in carrying out responsibilities to a successful conclusion
  • Innovative – is able to stay up to date with technology and market changes in sourcing and recruitment, and recommend new ideas and approaches (social media, apps, etc.)
