  • Responsible for full cycle recruiting. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, screen, conduct initial interviews and prepare candidates for interviews with hiring managers.
  • Research, schedule, manage and attend recruiting events.
  • Develop sourcing pools for and talent pipelines by posting job ads through job boards, social media, state employment agencies, professional associations, colleges and employee referral programs. Establish KPI’s with management to measure effectiveness.
  • Consistently communicate with AER Management team members to help identify personnel needs and provide recruitment support.
  • Provide job specific orientation (presentation, tour, and follow-up communication).
  • Perform 90-day evaluation and course correction.
  • Provide scheduled and as-needed guidance for the first 90-days of employment.
  • Comply with AER operational, quality, and safety policies & procedures, and adheres to manufacturer requirements. Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area.
  • Maintain and promote harmonious working relations with fellow employees. Be willing to assist other departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR related field.
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in related field.
  • Knowledge of current HR law, rules and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as the ability to process numbers quickly to produce charts, control documents, and work instructions.
  • Ability to enter data and effectively display KPIs and other metrics for evaluation.
  • Must exhibit strong interpersonal skills, team building, and leadership characteristics.
  • Able to work with all levels of staff.
