Fitesa product innovations touch almost everyone in the world, every day. We supply innovative nonwoven fabrics to the global hygiene industry from eleven manufacturing locations in eight countries.

Over the past ten years, Fitesa has grown by leaps and bounds. Previously a little known Brazilian nonwoven manufacturer, we're now what you might call a powerhouse, currently the second largest producer globally in the hygiene, medical, and industrial nonwoven spunlaid market. What does this mean? It means you'll find our products in products you use every day, such as popular brand diapers, hygiene, and feminine products.

Fitesa is currently seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join its growing team. This position will focus on the recruitment of team members and the development of an on-going pipeline of external and internal job candidates.

 

Key Responsibilities:

·         Develop, implement, measure, and adjust as necessary a comprehensive talent acquisition plan;

·         Develop assessments, testing, and best practices to attract and retain team members;

·         Build candidate pool and name recognition through social media and other platforms;

·         Develop Internship Program through partnerships with high schools, Technical Colleges, and Universities.

·         Working with HR Business Partners, develop career paths for all positions;

·         Provide metrics and reporting to ensure the ongoing success of talent acquisition;

·         Partners with the Learning and Development team and technical schools to develop a curriculum and certification process for nonwoven industry positions. Implements same to develop specialized pipeline of continuous candidates;

·         Works with manufacturing associations to enhance interest in nonwoven positions by highlighting company careers and related initiatives;

·         And related responsibilities.


Requirements

Education/Background:

Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing, Strategic Talent Acquisition (STA) certification is a plus. Must have proven competency in talent acquisition with 2-5 years’ experience, preferably with a manufacturing company.

Required Competences:

Savvy Business Sense -Must understand the business, how the company works, from external constraints to internal dynamics and use this to build the competitive edge in talent acquisition.

Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the details while maintaining a large overview with the goal of achieving overall corporate goals.

Understanding the Sector -Must know the technologies involved in the business sector. In order to unearth the talent (especially for passive candidates), and vet and persuade the talent. Must talk the talk and know the tools.

Exemplary Detective Skills –Knowledge of the technology and sector and ability to use the many tools and boards to source the best candidates often in difficult scenarios.

Accountability – Ability to set expectations with hiring managers, the company, and with candidates, and hold all parties to them. This includes hiring process timing and requisites, as well as communication and feedback, and prioritization of requisites and effort.

Sales Acumen – Understand the needs, identify the right match, and compellingly sell the opportunity. Sell the hiring manager on profile needed for organizational effectiveness.

Personal Ethics –Must have integrity and honesty. Position acts as the face of the company.

Brand Ambassador – Must have excellent communication and listening skills, and be an enthusiastic representative of the Company’s brand/job/team/and overall company. As the face of the company initially, this positon must be well-versed, not only in the company and its product/service, but also in the hiring manager’s management style, business approach, and his/her team and the work environment.

Negotiation Skills -The recruiter is often in the position of mediator between candidate and company, negotiating with both sides to bring them into agreement. The recruiter will act as a sounding board, to provide feedback, ideas, and solutions. The recruiter should be tuned into the true needs and desires of both sides, such that he/she understanding the hard stops, and can champion a course of action that will achieve a win for all.

Problem Solving -Challenges can arise. Talent acquisition has many moving parts that need to mesh to make a successful hire. In this role, the Talent Acquisition Partner must be creative and determine how to make the right match come together by overcoming any variety of obstacles.
