The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will recruit and manage volunteers and will deliver full life-cycle employee recruiting, which includes sourcing, screening and preparing candidates for interviews with hiring managers.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, ensure job descriptions are accurate and determine selection criteria for open positions
  • Source potential candidates through on-line channels using Web Recruiting software
  • Screen and interview candidates for hiring managers
  • Attend job fairs and recruitment events and develop long-term recruiting strategies.
  • Working with management, determine the need for volunteers and then develop, promote and maintain a wide range of volunteer opportunities.
  • Recruit, train and schedule volunteers as needed for daily activities, recurring opportunities or special events
  • Keep records of volunteer information and also perform outreach to promote the program

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience in Human Resources or Talent Acquisition
  • Familiarity with social media and professional networks
  • Hands on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of applicant tracking software is required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • BS in Human Resources Management or relevant field
  • Experience in long term care or healthcare is a plus
  • Strong organization, planning and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well with a diverse group of employees and volunteers
