POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The focus of this role is to source top talent for all functions in the company and assess that talent for high performance, potential, and retention. The Talent Acquisition Advisor works with hiring managers and teams to define requirements, workload distribution across the team, and suggest optimal options for achieving results through the most effective deployment of talent. Key to success will be the cultivation of talent pipelines for each function in order to provide the most responsive service to hiring managers. The ability to utilize modern talent acquisition systems, marketing, techniques, and skill is essential. Training interview teams on proper assessment of talent will also be necessary.

 

 

 

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Full cycle recruiting (from sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing through to offering)

  • Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.

  • Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.

  • Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff as a source to generate qualified applicants.

  • Provides information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.

  • Screens and refers qualified applicants to Talent Acquisition Manager and/ or hiring manager for interviewing.  

  • Provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills and salary requirements.

  • Schedules interviews and arranges travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.

  • Conducts reference and background checks.

  • Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of opportunities.

  • Maintains records on recruiting activities as required.

  • Creates and maintains the social media recruitment strategy, which is aligned with marketing and HR communication

  • Create job postings and organizational announcements

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

EXPERTISE REQUIRED:

  • Proven sourcing experience

  • Assessing talent

  • Social media recruiting experience

  • Experience with a Ceridian HRIS/Payroll system a plus


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Degree in Psychology, Marketing, Human Resources or related field, preferred

  • Strong PC skills to include Word, Excel and other business applications

  • Strong communication, time management and organizational skills

  • 3 years of recruiting, sourcing, sales experience, or equivalent positions requiring operation in a fast-paced, timeline-driven environment
