POSITION SUMMARY: 
Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, we are seeking a versatile and self-directed Human Resources Generalist who will be responsible for managing Worker’s Compensation, Unemployment Claims, Employee Relations and assisting the HR Director with compliance review, updates and training and development.    Human Resources experience across a wide variety of functions including HRIS System Management, Employment Offers, Employee Relations, Training and Development, and Risk Management/Legal Compliance is essential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 4 years of Human Resources experience
  • Prior experience managing Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Claims.
  • Demonstrated experience in maintaining legal compliance.
  • At least 2 years of experience conducting workplace investigations and handling Employee Relations
  • Experience developing, implementing and enforcing policies, procedures and programs.
  • Demonstrated good judgment and decision-making ability with leadership qualities
  • Outstanding communication, problem resolution and organization skills.
  • Ability to analyze current labor laws and payroll regulations and properly utilize available resources including outside counsel and associations
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of software applications in general, including Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written, verbal presentation and interpersonal communication skills
