Description

As the People Partner Leader at Bezos Academy, you will act as a trusted HR advisor, coach, and partner to senior leaders and managers as we build a network of tuition free, Montessori inspired preschools nationwide. Over time, you will build your own team of People Partners (HR Business Partners) to help support your strategies and deliver outstanding people partnership to our nationwide network of schools.

As a key member of the People Leadership Team, you will shape the strategies that deliver an outstanding employee experience at Bezos Academy, ensuring it is a place where everyone can thrive and do their best work on behalf of children. You will collaborate with leaders on development planning, organizational design, workforce planning, performance management, business planning, goal setting, annual rewards, employee relations, and other people related processes.  Working backwards from our vision, mission, and values, you will build and implement organizational and talent strategies that enable us to scale and deliver on our objectives. You will expertly use data and analytics as well as direct experience to capture data and generate talent insights, while ensuring all of our processes drive fair and equitable outcomes. This position will serve to expand and enhance a culture of coaching, development, inclusion, and belonging for employees and leaders alike.

You bring a broad spectrum of experience to this position from your prior work in HR leadership or generalist roles, including areas of talent management, learning and development, organizational design, workforce planning, leadership coaching and development, talent acquisition, and people operations. You have exceptionally strong business acumen, the ability to develop trusting and authentic relationships across lines of difference, and you are experienced at guiding and leading a rapidly growing and diverse workforce through exciting challenges and change.

This leadership role reports to our Head of People.

Relocation support is available for this role. Relocation timeline TBD due to the pandemic.
