This position oversees the Staffing function for the Stop & Shop brand.  The position helps set Talent Acquisition strategy and oversees the full recruitment cycle for our associates within the support office.  This position serves as the account manager for all key talent acquisition vendors.  This position will creatively and proactively mine social media, networking sites, user groups, passive candidates and internal database to identify, screen and create talent communities and pipeline of candidates to present for current and/or future positions. Ensure Brand is represented in the most accurate and appropriate way to all candidates. Create robust sourcing plans to attract world class talent.

  • Works with the VP of Talent to write the talent acquisition strategy including the employee value proposition, sourcing and recruiting strategy.
  • Interviews candidates to determine skill set, fit within the organization and level of interest. Reviews information gathered from initial interview/pre-screen process and provides hiring manager with recommendation regarding most appropriate candidates for follow up interview.
  • Maintains frequent contact with candidates during and after the interview campaign in order to ensure candidates receive timely feedback.
  • Fully develop recruitment campaigns for vacancies to provide diverse pools/pipelines of high quality candidates, utilizing available metrics to optimize return on investment of hires.
  • Be subject matter expert in key areas of sourcing techniques and strategies.
  • Establish and maintain external relationships to develop a pipeline for hard-to-fill positions.
  • Screen candidates to determine availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, qualifications and cultural fit and sell and market Brand as employer of choice to candidates.
  • Maintain accurate and well documented pipelines of searches, recruiting activity, contact data, etc.
  • Partner with other brand recruiters on positions to assess and identify needed talent and collaboratively build effective sourcing strategies.
  • Develop passive candidates through networking, cold calling, internet searches, name generation, data mining, industry and community events and utilizing social media.
  • Provides expertise throughout the hiring process from job posting to selection of final candidate.
  • Serves as subject matter expert and mentors recruitment recruiters and provides training to new hiring managers, recruiters and HR partners as needed.
  • Attend job fairs, meetings, seminars, workshops and/or conferences as needed.
  • Work on ad hoc recruitment projects as assigned.

Requirements

 

Basic Qualification 
 
  • Five or more years’ of full life cycle recruiting experience.
  • Strong Knowledge of EEOC regulations and labor laws.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems.
Preferred Qualification
 
  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology
  • Multiple AIRS certifications including but not limited to: Certified Internet Recruiter (CIR); Certified Diversity Recruiter (CDR); Certified Social Sourcing Recruiter (CSSR); Advanced Certified Internet Recruiter (ACIR)
  • A thorough knowledge of recruitment practices and strategies.
  • Demonstrated a track record of innovation and creativity.
  • Proficient with internet research and data mining tools and techniques including Boolean strings and LinkedIn techniques.
