What you'll do

As the Senior Manager, HR Operations and Rewards, you will be an integral part of the HR team to support KIND's business needs, culture and values.  You will support the administration of our compensation and benefits programs, as well as manage our HR technology and build reporting and analytics capabilities.  You will work collaboratively with KIND Leaders, HR Business Partners and Finance Partners to consult on operations and rewards efforts and provide insights from our data.  


Total Rewards (Compensation and Benefits)

  • Serve as subject matter expert in KIND's compensation programs, including equity, short-term and long-term incentives
  • Lead market benchmark analysis efforts and provide expert counsel to HR and Business leadership on compensation issues related to pay structure, pay change recommendations, new hire offers, and job level assessments to ensure consistent pay practices are followed 
  • Support the annual compensation planning process and build tools and dashboards to support an efficient evaluation of our market position
  • Lead equity administration processes, including transaction settlements, payroll tax reporting and maintenance of grant records
  • Administer all US and Canada benefits programs, including accurate enrollments with carriers and resolve any team member inquiries with the utmost urgency
  • Administer worker's compensation claims, and leave of absences including disability claims and paid family leave benefits
  • Support the annual open enrollment process, build benefits communications, implement wellness initiatives, and maintenance of benefits deduction codes in HR system

Operations (Technology and Reporting)

  • As owner of HRIS, deliver enhancements to our HR systems to ensure proper utilization and maintain the integrity of data and manage technology integrations
  • Deliver data analysis and communicate insights on talent metrics and trends to business
  • Provide day-to-day supervision for HR Operations team for onboarding, hiring, termination and job change processes
  • Oversee the US and Canada payroll functions with a focus on accuracy, compliance and process improvements. Research and resolve complex state and/or federal tax issues as needed.
  • With an eye for important regulations, you ensure all administrative forms, reports, processes and audits are completed accurately, timely and in compliance with federal, local, state and provincial regulations

  • Proficiency with Excel, which means you can do VLOOKUPs and pivot tables as easily as you manage e-mails!

  • Highly organized and great at prioritizing, multi-tasking and follow up
  • Meticulous about detail and accuracy while working effectively in a fast-paced open office environment
  • Able to manage ambiguity and shifting priorities while remaining calm & controlled
  • Comfortable learning new technical systems 


You have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or another related field is preferred
  • 5-7 years’ experience in a related HR role
  • Strong aptitude for analyzing data, generating reports and assessing themes
  • Extremely high ethical standards and the ability to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality
  • Adaptability to the work environment and ability to manage competing demands, dealing with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office, and HRIS systems
  • Experience managing a team member



  • Experience with Ultimate Software ("UltiPro")
