The Senior Manager, Human Resources Operations is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource services in the designated multi-state regions of the MEDNAX National Medical Group (MNMG). This position manages all employees on the regional HR team and is responsible for the performance management and hiring of the employees within that team



  • Manage, plan and organize human resources activities for the regional team
  • Participate in developing division HR goals, objectives and systems
  • Operations and HS relationship management
  • Liaison between departments or other groups to improve function or communication
  • Work closely with regional HR management counterparts to ensure consistency in HR service delivery
  • Advise others on legal or regulatory compliance matters. Maintain knowledge of current developments in area of expertise and in healthcare industry impacting the workforce
  • Develop, recommend and communicate organizational policies and procedures
  • Prepare operational budgets
  • Ensures compliance of all HR functions with all federal, state and local employment laws
  • Serve as HR subject matter expert and key point of contact on company cross-functional projects
  • Evaluate reports, decisions and results of company and department initiatives in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed
  • Recruitment – status of overall recruitment for region, establish position control, key position interviews, guidance on offers
  • Provided guidance to supervisors on training, coaching, counseling, development and performance evaluation of employees
  • Review and provide guidance on complex clinical behavior and impairment matters, and facilitate executive reviews or any matter which may result in termination of employment for a clinical employee
  • Conduct compensation market analysis to determine competiveness
  • Review and approve non-clinical employment termination and individual position eliminations for manager-level and below
  • Lead HR in small deal due diligence including job mapping
  • Participate and support HRVP in large deal DD
  • Management of all HR tasks related to pre-acquisition, integration and orientation of newly acquired employee populations


Education Level: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in HR Management or relevant concentration preferred

Experience Years: 7-10 years of progressive human resource experience. Leadership or supervisory experience required. PHR/SHPR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.

Experience Industry: Healthcare experience required

Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience will be considered
