Our firm is conducting a search for a Senior Vice President of Human Resources for  a San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company with drug candidates entering into Phase 3 and Phase 2.

 We are seeking a strategic business leader specializing in scaling human capital capability to meet growth and expansion, in building strong relationships with the Board of Directors, in providing senior management content expertise, diversity planning and culture enhancement. This person will work closely with the CEO and team to determine, develop and execute human resources strategies that support overall business objectives. Experience in leading an human resources organization which has grown from a smaller organization into a successful medium size life science company and must attain the respect and confidence of the CEO, board and team.

Requirements

The Senior Vice President, Human Resources will be a partner to the CEO and Board of Directors in contributing to the business strategy and scaling human capital capability to support this mission. The successful candidate will have the expertise and qualifications to participate as a member of the Executive Team and must be a compelling communicator who exudes expertise, leadership and integrity to stakeholders and employees.

 This position demands strong business acumen, operational capabilities, knowledge of science and a track record of shaping the HR organization for future success.

Experience in life science is a must.
