PURPOSE:  Responsible for the design, development, and execution of training programs to support all levels of management team.  Immediate focus is on entry level leaders while developing courses for all levels. This position will work with customers and business partners to develop and execute training initiatives that increases a leader’s effectiveness. Coach and mentor leaders and future leaders and carries out all duties while maintaining compliance and confidentiality and promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Design, develop and implement exceptional training programs & course materials to support a variety of delivery types, including instructor-led, eLearning, and webinars.
  • Work with cross-functional business partners to develop and execute training programs and materials that support achievement of leadership goals:
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of course content and delivery modalities and make improvements as necessary
  • Establish baseline core competencies for leaders
  • Anticipate and understand changing audience needs and business drivers and adapt to meet those needs
  • Manage projects to ensure timelines, milestones and deliverables are met
  • Manage multiple projects related to company initiatives along with daily responsibilities.
  • Coach and mentor leaders and future leaders.
  • Manage the Corporate New Hire Orientation.
  • Manage and oversee the new management and leader programs.
  • Leads the collaboration with departments to identify training needs and develops training and documentation specific to business office workflows, policies and procedures and/or computer applications specific to the business office area.
  • Participate in system upgrades through analysis, testing and development of documentation to support workflows and procedures.
  • Actively seeks improvement opportunities and initiates and or proposes improvements related to quality.
  • Acts as a resource for staff and team members with questions/problems requiring resolution.
  • Serves as a resource for leaders in the organization.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides direction and support to peers and other staff as needed.
  • Identifies internal and external training resources and coordinates scheduling as needed.
  • Conducts new hire follow-ups as needed.
  • Attends meetings, participates in work groups and/or serves on committees as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:  Bachelor’s degree is required, Master’s degree a plus.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience in a training role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Demonstrate understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design principles and proven track record of creating and implementing successful learning & organization development solutions.
  • Strong skill with creating elearning materials and utilizing elearning software such as Captivate, Articulate, etc.
  • Strong computer skills including, but not limited to, MicroSoft Office and Adobe applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability of learning new applications and/or functionality and create training documentation to support the application.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal & problem solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt supporting documentation to reflect the organization’s policies and procedures related to the Practice Management system, workflows and processes.

Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., plus occasional early morning, evening and/or weekend hours as required by business needs.
