What is the Total Rewards Analytics group responsible for?
 
Provides analytical insight and systems expertise for Total Reward policies, practices, and initiatives, enabling Human Resources and business leaders to make informed decisions on compensation and benefit issues. Responsible for the design, administration, and ongoing development of key Total Reward systems and analytical tools.
 
What are the ongoing responsibilities of a Senior Total Rewards Analyst?
  • The Sr. Compensation Analyst provides informed qualitative and quantitative analyses in delivering, implementing and administering global corporate compensation programs and incentive plans as a part of the Total Rewards Analytics team. The analytics function within Global Total Rewards provides global comparative reporting of competitive pay practices, financial impact of all compensation plans with a strong emphasis on data modeling. This position seeks a unique quantitative-minded individual who is comfortable combining quantitative modeling, financial analysis and business strategy while juggling multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
You will be primarily responsible for the following:
  • Providing reporting and analytics support for preparation of board materials
  • Provide the design, development, and testing of reporting and analysis initiatives
  • Assisting in the design, analysis, presentation, implementation and administration of select incentive plans and compensation programs with emphasis on cost modeling and business impact
  • Providing critical cost analysis leading up to and during the annual year-end pay cycles for merit and bonus
  • Providing key analysis support for all ad-hoc requests from senior management and team members
  • Providing key support for reporting of market data for all global positions
  • Acting as a liaison with corporate finance in the administration of Franklin Templeton's bonus programs
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?
  • Bachelors’ degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 3-5 years financial analysis, data analysis or other relevant experience
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Access (proficiency with array formulas and advanced pivot tables required)
  • A love for data and analysis with a curiosity in understanding the meaning behind the numbers
  • Excellence in data management
  • Knowledge of SQL, VBA, macros preferred
  • Alteryx/Tableau or familiarity with other Business Intelligence software a plus
  • Willingness to explore databases, identify relationships and validate sources
  • Excellence in complex problem solving skills with an emphasis on a creative and unique perspective where appropriate
  • Experience with compensation analysis and systems preferred but not required
  • Candidate must possess good communication and interpersonal skills in order to interact with various levels and functional groups
