Working in a creative and fast-paced environment, the Senior Recruiter will use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates. Among others, your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Partner with hiring manager and HRBP to determine staffing needs.
  • Screen resumes, interview candidates (by phone or in person), administer appropriate assessments and reference/background checking, make recommendations for hire (or not hire) and deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  • Serve as an expert for recruiting candidates within an assigned area.
  • Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates.
  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer offer letters, etc.
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Communicate important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements).
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Manage current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Manage application/resume file and retention according to company policy.
  • Maintain EEOC compliance through our Applicant Tracking System.
  • Promote diversity in staffing.
  • Understand USAC’ immigration program as it applies to the recruitment process.
  • Other specific duties as assigned


The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment, and will be crucial for the success of the HR Division.

  • You possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related field (preferably in HR, Business, and/or Career Psychology).
  • You have 5 to 7 years’ experience in a recruiting position.
  • You have strong technical abilities with web-based applicant tracking systems.

The following is desired:

  • You have a PHR, SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential
