The Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition is responsible for the overall candidate experience including the process of attracting, sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and on-boarding new employees and internal transfers. This individual will manage the Sargento employment brand, marketing initiatives, campaigns, and referral programs. Additionally, the Sr. Manager Talent Acquisition is responsible for processes and policies to ensure compliance with employment law.

Manage recruiting strategy aligned with HR strategic plan.


Oversee the implementation of the Sargento employer brand strategy and plan.


Provides consultative support and collaborate with managers, HR Business Partners to create staffing plans required to proactively identify hiring needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.


Manage workforce development initiatives required to attract and develop a pipeline of talent.


Develop plan to leverage social media technology required to execute recruiting strategy & implement.


Develops and oversees recruitment programs, budgets, and collateral to attract applicants and fill specific job openings.


Leads an engaged Talent Acquisition team focused on innovative ideas and solutions.


Monitors trends and best practices in employment branding & recruitment.


Negotiate contracts with external vendors.


Use HR metrics, data for continuous improvement & planning purposes.


Partner with third party relocation provider concerning the administration of the relocation policy and makes recommendations for program enhancements to ensure our relocation benefit is competitive.


Monitors and evaluates the performance of recruiting strategies, sources and executes plans to improve results.


Develops and maintains network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.


Collaborate with Corporate Communications to write and place job advertisements in various media channels.


Develops and coordinates internal job posting program and writes job postings.


Partner with external recruiters and employment agencies to identify and recruit candidates.


Manage career fair opportunities and participation


Builds relationships, makes public presentations and initiates community outreach with schools, alumni groups, and other organizations to find and attract qualified applicants to support company recruitment initiatives.

Manages candidate applicant tracking software.

Manage and oversee candidate on-boarding experience.


Manages background check policy and process.


Manages the processes and systems to ensure integrity of data required to maintain compliance with government reporting requirements.


Monitors equal opportunity and affirmative action regulations to ensure compliance in accordance with government requirements.


Maintains complete and steadfast confidentiality in all matters regarding recruitment, compensation and other appropriate human resource issues.


This position has supervisory responsibility for a team of 6 individuals.

Requirements

Bachelor degree in human resources, business, or related field and a minimum of 8 years of professional level experience in a recruitment/talent acquisition role required

Experience with developing and implementing innovative recruiting and sourcing plans.

Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations related to recruiting, employment, EEO, and Affirmative Action required

Talent Sourcing certifications (AIRS CIR) preferred.
